This was stated by HD accompanied by the Head of the South Sumatra Province Archives Service, Dr. H.M Edward Juliartha, S.Sos, MM during the Destruction of Inactive Archives of Regional Apparatus Organizations in the Government of South Sumatra Province in 2022
“If we look at today’s event, the movement of increasing science and technology makes this archive seem easier, even though this archive has important use values for today,” said HD

“In this national archive there are regulations, not only the government but also the private sector. One time it is needed, the archive is not easy to obtain, because sometimes it is related to a system that makes it difficult. Sometimes we think this is useless but don’t get involved with legal issues,” said HD
HD also reminds. no less important is socialization not to be lazy and reluctant to archive, for example land acquisition archives. So that historically the land was lost because of something such as a change of leadership before the filing process was finished.

This archive destruction involved 14 OPD in the South Sumatra Province and 11,316 archive files were destroyed.
