Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru inaugurated the New Campus of the Islamic University of Ogan Komering Ilir (UNISKI).
HD said that not all regions are capable of establishing universities like this, high schools and universities were established so that they can compete and compete with other universities.
“In life, the most important need besides health, namely education, we can get education from the informal sector. This Uniski presents so many variants of knowledge and is adapted to the latest needs,” said HD.
On this occasion, HD gave one car as an operational vehicle for the Foundation.
“Just move because surely success will find a way to find the right person. Every university institution must continue to foster the capacity of increasing teachers,” said HD.
Head of Uniski Foundation, Ir. H. Ishak Mekki, MM said that by building this foundation, it is hoped that all poor people in OKU district can get an education.
“It’s not easy to make things happen without having to work hard, I hope. This is a real manifestation of concern for the world of education, I believe education is everything for the future because without education it would be difficult to develop and compete, “said Ishak Mekki.
The Chancellor of Uniski, Muhammad Rasyid Ridho M.Si said that Uniski was established to bring quality students and alumni at relatively low and affordable costs compared to other places. Uniski Campus consists of 4 Faculties with 7 Study Programs.
“With all the existing limitations, 24% of alumni from Uniski graduated as Civil Servants,” said Rasyid. (mhn/ril)
