Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru inaugurated and took the Oath of Position as a Member of the Regional Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPID) Prov. South Sumatra for the 2022-2025 period.
The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru conveyed the warning for the KPID because the speed of IT improvement is beyond the reach of our minds, making the task of the KPID even more difficult because it has to monitor all existing applications.
“The world that is currently getting more advanced, it’s just our speed to balance it. Understand the tools because powers are not comprehensive if they are not used properly. KPID is a remote for broadcasting aesthetics and has a literacy function for IT in the field that does not have working hours,” said HD.
HD requested that this KPID become an institution known for its performance. Preventive performance proudly makes intelligent society applicable in public.
Chairman of the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission Agung Suprio, M.IP conveyed the migration from analog TV broadcasts to digital TV broadcasts. Along with the move from analog to digital broadcasting, more TV stations will grow, meaning that the tasks of the central KPI and regional KPIs will be even more difficult.
“In 2024 we will hold a democratic party, usually TV and radio will be the means for campaigning, whether regulated or not by the KPU. Before the election period, political parties start campaigning so they need wisdom from the central and regional KPIs so that public frequencies are not used greedily or inappropriately,” Suprio said.
