The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru together with the Regent of OKUS, Popo Ali Martopo and the local Forkopimda conducted a 53 Km convoy with dozens of members of the Vespa Community who are members of Scoot’s id.
The star route is around 15.10 WIT from the courtyard of the OKUS Regent’s Office in Muara Dua to the Lake Ranau area, Banding Agung District, with a distance of 53 Km.
The governor’s entourage walked along the province-owned roads at speeds varying between 40 and 60 km/hour.
Governor Herman Deru took advantage of this moment to greet the people in a number of villages that the convoy passed. Moreover, at the moment of the 78th Indonesian Independence Day, many residents held a people’s game competition in order to enliven the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day.
Like when the group crossed Ruos Village, Buay Rawan District, residents gathered to hold a folk games competition. No doubt the crowd suddenly became excited at the sudden appearance of the Governor and his entourage. Even with the OKUS Regent, Herman Deru, he tried out the balloon dancing competition. “Let’s race again, the best will be a prize from the Governor,” said Herman Deru amidst the crowd of residents.
Likewise, when this group passed by SD Negeri 10, Simpang Sender Subdistrict, Buay Pematang Ribu Ranau Tenga (BPR) District, Herman Deru did not hesitate to play gaple with the residents. Even spontaneously Herman Deru gave prizes in the form of a sum of money for the winners.
This time the convoy with the Vespa community was also used by Herman Deru to directly monitor a number of road points that were damaged by landslides.
