The Indonesia Post – South Sumatra Governor H Herman Deru attended the joint shrimp harvest and the handover of Phase II (Two) pond land ownership certificates to fish farmers in Pratama Mandira Village. On that occasion, HD answered several requests for farmers in this village, namely electricity, capital, security, and the selling price of shrimp which was profitable for the community, and its production was suppressed.

“Electricity I answered, that thanks to the support of PLN, on February 16, 2021, electricity has arrived here, only administrative services are left. This is manifested in the cooperation between PLN and PT CPP.” Electricity entering the ponds will be useful to reduce production costs, “he said.

Furthermore, related to capital. He revealed that the handover of the pond ownership certificate could be a way to obtain capital through Sumsel Babel Bank. After this submission, HD asked the Bank to guide us to focus on its business. “I will also build a fish and shrimp auction place in this village, we will examine it from the construction site,” he said.

Regarding security issues, HD emphasized that it would facilitate the National Police Chief to create security in this village, but HD asked that this be done in collaboration with Babinsa and Babin Kamtibnas as well as the community.

On that occasion, 1,300 land certificates were also given to shrimp farmer associations in this village and symbolically handed over to 5 people from PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk. Followed by the signing of the MoU between PLN and PT Central Proteina Prima (CPP) Tbk regarding borrowing electrical assets. Because electricity plays an important role in shrimp farming.
