Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru invites the public not to give up on Covid-19 by maintaining health protocols and vaccinating. Joint efforts against COVID-19 are also carried out with synergy formed from the Government and stakeholders.
“I am touched by the steps of ladies and gentlemen, especially Gojek drivers to carry out vaccines facilitated by POLTEKPAR, Gojek management, there is also the role of the Provincial Government in distributing vaccines to districts/cities including Palembang in a proportional manner,” said HD when reviewing the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination for drivers. HD appreciates the spirit and resilience of the community in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. He invites all parties to fight Covid-19 in a healthy way, take action on how to manage this so that health is maintained, our economy remains sustainable, thankfully it can grow, and social activities will continue.
“We want to recover soon, the economy will return to normal activities. I hope that in March 2022 we can face the new normal of a new life with high awareness that COVID-19 is not far from us and needs to be avoided by obeying the prokes,” he said.
In addition, HD also thanked all the Gojek management, PHRI, Asita, Poltekpar and all who have made the implementation of the vaccine run well and hopefully the target can be achieved and play a role in making Indonesia Healthy, South Sumatra healthy, Indonesia healthy.
Director of Poltekpar, Dr. Zulkifli Harahap, M.M., said that this activity was held for 4 days from September 8-11, 2021. The total participants were 4,400 people, which were divided into 1,100 people per day. Participants consisted of tourism actors, MSMEs, as well as associations in collaboration with the Palembang Health Office, Gojek Indonesia, South Sumatra Disbudpar and Palembang Disbudpar.
