HD Review the Construction of the Sriwijaya University Medical Faculty Lecture Building

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Lecture Building of the Medical Faculty (FK) Sriwijaya University (UNSRI) Palembang which was reviewed by the Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru (HD) is located in the Siti Fatimah Hospital Prov. South Sumatra.

Through this opportunity, HD said that the review was a manifestation of the government’s seriousness in making South Sumatra the best place for health education on the island of Sumatra.

“Our goal is one more big, namely to make South Sumatra a Health Tourism and this will be achieved if we are equipped with human resources that can be balanced with having good health technology too”, said HD.

In addition, HD added that he has a desire to revitalize every puskesmas in South Sumatra so that it becomes a place of treatment with a proper standard with complete health facilities.

HD also expressed his appreciation for what UNSRI has done in making its finances efficient to become a building for the Faculty of Medicine.

“We will review the progress of the building that will make us proud and hopefully can be completed and operate on time. I ask that we both realize this commitment. In realizing South Sumatra as the best place to study health sciences and as a health tourism for Indonesia”, said HD .

Meanwhile, the Chancellor of Sriwijaya University, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Anis Saggaf, M.SCE said that Siti Fatimah Azzahra Hospital was very suitable to be the main hospital in South Sumatra.

“If we don’t lift it, we will be late to run. And the Siti Fatimah Hospital deserves to be the main hospital,” he said when opening his speech.

It should be noted that the land being built was a grant from the South Sumatra Provincial Government to the Ministry of Research and Technology in 2018 which was then given to Sriwijaya University.

Also present were the Vice Chancellor IV of Sriwijaya University, Prof. Dr. Ir. M. Said, M.Sc, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Unsri, dr. H. Syarif Husin, MS, President Director of RSUD Siti Fatimah Azzahra, South Sumatra, dr. Syamsuddin Isaac, SM, Sp.OG and the Heads of OPD Prov. South Sumatra. (mhn/ril)
