Herman Deru Asks JMSI to Provide Examples of Balanced Press in South Sumatra

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra Province H Herman Deru welcomed the presence of the board of the South Sumatra Indonesian CyberMedia Network (JMSI). He hopes JMSI should be able to provide education for press company owners in South Sumatra in creating a healthy press.

“JMSI must reconstruct the news to the people of South Sumatra. So that trust is built in the information provided by the press itself, “said HD at the inauguration of the regional management of the Indonesian CyberMedia Network (JMSI) for the 2020-2025 period.

JMSI was also asked to provide education related to the presentation of the press and balanced news for the people of South Sumatra so that there would be no discussion or hoaxes.

“Congratulations to the management of the South Sumatra JMSI. The existence of this inauguration, the future management legalism is clearer, “he explained.

HD also asked JMSI to become a partner of the government, especially in realizing equitable development in South Sumatra. “We are happy if we are controlled.

Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of JMSI Pusat, Teguh Santosa, said that realizing professional and healthy press freedom is the duty of all parties, including the government.

General Chairman of JMSI South Sumatra for the period 2020-2025, Agus Harizal, admitted that he is ready to carry out the mandate and realize a better South Sumatra press. “JMSI is ready to become a professional online company organization by providing accurate news to the people of South Sumatra,” he said.

Also present was the Chairman of the South Sumatra DPRD, Hj. Anita Noeringhati, Pangdam II Sriwijaya represented by Kahubdam II SWJ, Col. CHB. Yanuar Kurniawan, and Assistant III for Administration and General Affairs, Prof. Edward Juliartha.
