Maintain the Quality of Milled Fish used by Fish-Based Craftsmen, HD Will Immediately Prepare Certification 

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Will Immediately Prepare Certification was disclosed by the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru when conducting a survey of SMEs for grinding cork fish in the fish village on Jl H Faqih Usman, before conducting a Friday prayer safari at the Al Kautsar Mosque Jl H Faqih Usman.

“Today I am reviewing the fish village. We can see how happy they are, especially from getting fish to continue to be processed into groundfish. Here there is Cork fish and puta fish, I hope that these creative efforts are backed up by the government,” HD said.

Therefore, during his visit, HD instructed the relevant agencies to immediately carry out certification for traders of pempek, model, tekwan made of ground fish meat.

“I ask for this certification not to have complicated requirements. We just need to review it. We will see the business log. If there is, we will give certification. With this certification, MSME players, especially pempek craftsmen, will get good and quality fish sources,” he said.

HD hopes that this certification will minimize the interests of irresponsible elements in the processing of this ground fish meat.

“We hope that after my visit, the related agencies will immediately move quickly. Then I ask the sub-district head to monitor this, so that there should not be a handful of people who get instant profits,” he said.

In addition, HD further said that in this fish village a snakehead fish statue would be made as a symbol that Palembang people were creative. This is a form of appreciation for this fish village which also plays a role in providing employment opportunities for the surrounding community.

“From adolescents to pregnant women, they can work in the clinic, but I also remember that you still apply 3M, wear a mask, keep your distance and wash your hands,” he concluded.
