Regional Budget for 2025 Decreased, This is the Response of the South Sumatra Legislative Council Chairperson

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The South Sumatra (Sumsel) Provincial Budget for the 2025 Fiscal Year (TA) Decreased by 2.97 percent.

This was stated by the Chairperson of the South Sumatra Legislative Council (DPRD), Hj RA Anita Noeringhati when met at the South Sumatra DPRD, Wednesday (11/9).

According to this Golkar Party politician, the decrease was due to the obligation of the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) which is now a city district including the central transfer fee, according to her, there was also a decrease so that the South Sumatra APBD for the 2025 fiscal year decreased compared to 2024.

Her party hopes that even though the South Sumatra APBD for the 2025 TA has decreased, she hopes that there will be input from other sectors.

“We have a fairly good palm oil DBH for financing infrastructure in South Sumatra because the palm oil DBH has been submitted and based on DAK funds and its allocation is clear, it cannot be shifted again,” she said.

And according to her, most of the palm oil DBH is indeed for financing infrastructure which is the responsibility of PU Bina Marga.

For the oil and gas DBH, Anita admitted that she did not know what it was like because it was not the end of the year yet.

“Because yesterday in 2023, yesterday we received it, it had only gone down to 83 percent,” he said. (ojn/ril)
