Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Regional Secretary of South Sumatra Province Edward Candra welcomed the arrival of 368 hajj pilgrims from East OKU Regency, flight group (kloter) 1 Palembang Debarkation at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport (SMB II). Held at the Palembang Hajj Dormitory, Friday (06/13/2025)
This welcome represents the presence of the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru in marking the start of the repatriation phase of the Palembang Embarkation hajj pilgrims.
In his remarks, Edward Candra welcomed all the pilgrims who had arrived safely.
“Welcome back to the Homeland. Welcome back to your respective homes. God willing, you will return home with the predicate of mabrur hajj and bring blessings to the community and the Province of South Sumatra that we love,” said Edward. (rys/ril)
