Palembang, The Indonesia Post – South Sumatra Governor H. Herman Deru (HD) attended the XXV Provincial House of Representative (DPRD) Plenary Meeting (Raperda).
South Sumatra Level II with the agenda of Submitting a Special Committee Discussion and Research Result Report on 2 (two) Raperda Initiative DPRD Prov. South Sumatra.
This meeting was held in the framework of the Results of the Discussion and Research of the Special Committee I and II Provincial DPRD. South Sumatra.
The first Raperda is about the Facilitation Support for the Implementation of Islamic Boarding Schools (Ponpes) and the second Raperda on Architecture of the Cultural Identity Ornament Building in South Sumatra.
In his remarks HD said, it is understood that the success of government administration and development is greatly influenced by the cooperation and coordination between regional government administrators.
Clearly, Ponpes has existed in the implementation of primary and secondary education by instilling faith and piety for all students in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation.
Regarding the Raperda on building architecture that is characteristic of South Sumatra, HD conveyed this as an effort to preserve the cultural diversity that is characteristic of South Sumatra.
“For this reason, the role of DPRD in carrying out its duties and functions of service is absolutely necessary in order to realize an advanced South Sumatra for all,” he said.
“We would like to express our gratitude and highest appreciation for the well-established cooperation in the discussion of the Raperda on the initiative of the DPRD,” he said.
This new draft regional regulation was born in West Java and South Sumatra Provinces. After being agreed upon, it was followed by the signing of the two Raperda between the Governor of HD and the Chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH ,.
