Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Dr Hj. RA Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH Attended the Inauguration of the Chair and Management of the South Sumatra Indonesian Journalist Association (PWI) for the period 2024 – 2029. The inauguration which was carried out directly by the General Chair of the Central PWI Hendry Ch Bangun was held at the Griya Agung, South Sumatra Governor’s Official House, Monday (25/3/2024 ) afternoon.
The chairman of the South Sumatra DPRD also received an award for caring figures for the press from PWI South Sumatra.
On that occasion, the chairman of PWI South Sumatra, Kurnaidi, expressed his gratitude for the trust of his media colleagues so that he was elected as chairman of PWI South Sumatra for the 2024-2029 period. He also expressed his gratitude for the support from various parties, so that this inauguration was carried out well.
Apart from that, Kurnaidi also explained several future work programs, including the implementation of the Journalist Competency Test (UKW) which will start next April.
Meanwhile, the General Chair of the Central PWI, Hendry Ch Bangun, in his speech, hoped that the PWI administrators who were appointed could carry out their duties well and always uphold the journalistic code of ethics.
“We hope that the new management can work with enthusiasm. “Congratulations on your work to the South Sumatra PWI, the South Sumatra PWI Honorary Council and the South Sumatra IKWI, may God bless and bless our work,” he concluded.
Apart from the inauguration of the South Sumatra PWI management, the South Sumatra PWI Provincial Honorary Council (DKP) and the Indonesian Journalists Family Association (IKWI) were also inaugurated.
This inauguration was attended by the Acting Governor of South Sumatra H Agus Fatoni, Chair of the South Sumatra DPRD Hj Anita Noeringhati, Acting Mayor of Palembang H Ratu Dewa, Acting Regent of Banyuasin H Hani S Rustam SH, Acting Regent of Muba Drs H Apriyadi Mahmud MSi, Acting Regent of OKU Teddy Meilwansyah, Acting Regent of OKU OKI Regent Asmar Wijaya, and several other regional heads in South Sumatra.
