Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairperson of the South Sumatra Province Legislative Council (DPRD), Dr. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH., attended the congregational Isha and Tarawih prayers as well as the opening of the Ramadhan recitation which took place at Griya Agung, Palembang, Monday (11/3/2024).
The event began with Isha prayers in congregation, attended by the Chair of the South Sumatra Province Family Welfare (TP-PKK) Tyas Fatoni, the South Sumatra Province Forkopimda, Vertical Agencies, BUMN, BUMD, Chancellors of State/Private Universities, Community/Religious Organizations in the South Sumatra Province and all Departments/OPD within the Provincial Government South Sumatra.

In his speech, Fatoni reminded us to use the opportunity of the month of Ramadan as well as possible, fill it with useful, productive activities, increase charity and worship with the hope that by the end of the month of Ramadan or Eid al-Fitr it will be clean, faith and devotion will increase.
“One month is not long, so if we can do it optimally, it means that throughout the year we will get charity and virtue. “Because the month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings and forgiveness,” said Fatoni.
Fatoni continued, even in the month of Ramadan, you must remain productive. Office activities will continue as usual and hopefully in the month of Ramadhan they can be further improved.

S.A. Supriono, Danrem 044/Gapo Brigadier General TNI Muhammad Thohir, S.Sos.M.M.Dirbinmas Polda South Sumatra Kombes Pol. Sofyan Hidayat, S.I.K.M.M, Head of South Sumatra Province Police Headquarters H.Aris Saputra, S.Sos.M.Si, Chairman of the South Sumatra Province MUI Prof.Dr.K.H. Aflatun Muchtar, M.A and Muezzin prayer officer and Bilal Ustaz Husni Tamrin, S.Pd.I.
Isha, Tarawih and Witir prayer leaders led by KH.Abdurrahman Ramli Al Hafidz and lecturer Dr. H. Bitoh Purnomo, M.A. and the congregation who attended the opening of the recitation of the holy month of Ramadan 1445 H/2024 AD.
Previously, the government had set the start of Ramadan 1445 H to fall on March 12 2024 based on the results of an agreement with the ulama through an isbat session. Meanwhile for Muhammadiyah 1 Ramadan falls on March 11 2024. (ojn/ril)
