Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD), Mrs. Dr. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH., together with the Forkopimda elements attended the commemoration of the proclamation moments at the South Sumatra Provincial Government level which was centered at Griya Agung Palembang, Saturday (17/8/2024) morning.
Acting as the Inspector of the Ceremony (Irup) for the commemoration of the 79th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) in 2024, the Acting (Pj) Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel) Elen Setiadi SH. M.S.E.
The commemoration of the Proclamation Anniversary began with the hoisting of the red and white flag by the South Sumatra Province flag-raising troops. Continued with the reading of the text of the 1945 Constitution by the Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati.
The one who acted as the Ceremony Commander was Lieutenant Colonel Arm. Timotius Berlian Yogi Ananto, SE. Alumni of the Military Academy in 2005, Daily position as Danyon Armed 15/Cailendra.
Meanwhile, the officer acting as the red and white flag bearer was Zakiya Annisa Ramadani, born in Palembang on September 21, 2008.

1. Bimma Sandy Putra, born in Sanggaran Agung on April 5, 2008, son of Sudriman and Hapiroh, representatives of SMAN 3 Unggulan Kayuagung.
2. Fayaz Atha Kurniawan (center) was born in Palembang on November 2, 2008, son of Indra Kurniawan and Sri Yuli Mariana, representatives of SMA Negeri 1 Palembang.
3. Fairuz Akbar Pratama (belang) was born in Baturaja on June 4, 2008, son of Wintri Yansi and Iin Novriani, representatives of SMA Negeri 1 OKU.
Meanwhile, acting as the Paskibraka Commander is Second Lieutenant Inf Reza Baskoro Wira Yudha, an alumni of AAD/2023, daily position as Danton III Kipan A Yonif 200/Bela Negara.
And acting as the Commander of Platoon Troop 45, Second Lieutenant Pom Reza Bayu Faitnando, an Alumni of Sepa PK in 2023. Daily position as Kasubsithanmil SI Idik Satpom Lanud Sri Mulyono Herlambang Palembang.
And served as Commander of Group 17 Yoseph Alvares Waruwu, Born in Lubuklinggau on March 25, 2008, son of Hekizaro Waruwu and Resmawati, representatives of the Lubuklinggau City Referral High School.
After the ceremony to commemorate the 79th Indonesian Independence Day, the Acting Governor of South Sumatra Elen Setiadi congratulated the Republic of Indonesia. At the age of 79, Elen admitted that she had made many achievements, especially during the administration of President Joko Widodo. However, according to her, there are still many challenges to face in the future, especially to realize an advanced Indonesia, developing towards a golden Indonesia.
“Alhamdulillah, we have made many achievements during the government, especially during the administration of President Joko Widodo. The last 10 years. But there are still so many challenges ahead that we must face, especially to realize a golden Indonesia and an advanced and developing Indonesia.
