Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairperson of the Legislative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province, Mrs. Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH, was present and gave motivation to the athletes who were competing in the Palembang U-23 Volleyball League Final. The match was organized by the All Indonesian Volleyball Association (PBVSI) Palembang City at the JKP Jakabaring Field Sunday (09/07/2023).
In the Inter-Club U-23 Volleyball League Final, which was held on Sunday, July 9 2023, the Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD, RA Anita, also witnessed a fierce match between talented young volleyball teams in Palembang City. During the event, RA Anita provided full support to the athletes and explained the importance of sport in building high character and fighting spirit.
“On this occasion, I would like to give appreciation and motivation to all the athletes who have fought hard in this year’s U-23 Volleyball League. You guys have shown great ability and fighting spirit. Continue to train and compete well, because this is the first step to achieve higher achievements,” said RA Anita.
The presence of the Chairman of the South Sumatra DPRD at the sporting event also shows the commitment of the provincial government in supporting sports development in South Sumatra. Through events such as the U-23 Volleyball League Final, it is hoped that it will produce more talented volleyball athletes who are ready to compete at the national and international levels.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the DPRD of South Sumatra also hopes that the local government will continue to support the development of adequate sports infrastructure, including fields and other supporting facilities. This aims to provide wider opportunities for young athletes to train and hone their skills.
The Palembang City U-23 Volleyball League Final event was also attended by PBVSI officials and administrators as well as volleyball fans. They enthusiastically watched the match which took place with great enthusiasm and professionalism.
The final match brought together the best volleyball teams in town, and the players gave their all to win the title. These young athletes have shown extraordinary dedication and hard work in developing their talents in volleyball.
With the end of the U-23 Volleyball League this year, it is hoped that the enthusiasm and fighting spirit of the young athletes will not stop here. They are expected to continue to practice and compete in other sporting events, in order to improve their self-quality and increase their achievements in the future.
Sports events such as the Palembang City U-23 Volleyball League Final are an important means of developing sports talents at the local level. With full support from the local government and the community, it is hoped that outstanding volleyball athletes will be born who can make South Sumatra proud on the national and international stage.
