Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Acting (Pj) Governor of South Sumatra Agus Fatoni attended and opened the Technical Guidance for Musi Banyuasin Regency Village Infrastructure (Ballroom of the Beston Hotel Palembang, Monday, 26/02/2024).
This Bimtek event lasted for 5 days, starting from February 26 to March 5 2024. It was held in 2 (two) waves and attended by 458 Village Officials.
In his speech, Fatoni said that this kind of activity is important to increase the capacity of Village Heads, because without sufficient supplies, without sufficient knowledge we cannot carry out our duties well.
“Village infrastructure is important, finances are also important, so I advise all Village Heads not to stop learning. Learn all the rules, all the regulations, because those rules are what will save us all. So continue to increase capacity,” said Fatoni.
According to Fatoni, the Village Head is the leading element in administering government. As in the government program on stunting prevention, the provision of assistance to stunted families must be controlled, the Village Head’s job is to ensure that stunted babies get nutritious food every day for 6 months.
“In the village there are houses that are not suitable, the South Sumatra Provincial Government has launched a house renovation and sanitation improvement program. And will dissect 8391 houses throughout South Sumatra.
Meanwhile, Acting Regent of Muba H. Apriyadi said that through activities like this, apart from bringing prosperity to village communities, it could also make villages in Muba independent.
