South Sumatra Legislative Council conveys Community Aspirations from the 2024 Phase I Recess Electoral Districts

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Leaders and Members of the Legislative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province conveyed the aspirations of the people from their respective electoral districts (Dapil) at the LXXX Plenary Meeting (80) with the agenda of presenting a report on the results of the Recess Activities of the Leaders and Members of the DPRD of South Sumatra today (Monday, 19/2/2024 ).

The community’s aspirations were obtained after the Leaders and Members of the Provincial DPRD. South Sumatra went down to the sub-districts, villages and sub-districts in their respective electoral districts to absorb the aspirations of the people for the 2024 phase I recess agenda from January 29 to February 5 2024.

The Plenary Meeting was chaired by the Deputy Chair of the Provincial DPRD, South Sumatra; H. Muchendi Mahzareki, SE accompanied by the Deputy Chair of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD; H.M. In the 2024 phase I recess agenda, the same as the previous recess, the community’s proposals or aspirations are submitted in writing through proposals and dialogue, proposals include those in the Infrastructure Sector, Education Sector, Government Sector, People’s Welfare Sector, Religious Sector, Agriculture Sector, Fisheries Sector , Animal Husbandry and others.

From the implementation of the Phase I Recess in 2024, South Sumatra Provincial DPRD members are still dominated by community proposals or aspirations in the infrastructure sector, such as village roads, bridges and connecting roads between villages, street lighting to facilitate the community’s daily activities, distribution of goods and services which will ultimately accelerate the pace of the community’s economy. village.

Furthermore, in supporting the village economy in real terms, community proposals in the fields of agriculture, plantations and animal husbandry are still dominated by requests for ease of obtaining subsidized fertilizer, procurement of livestock seeds and facilities and animal feed. The rest of the community’s aspirations are related to the field of people’s welfare, such as the welfare of teachers by paying attention to the fate of honorary teachers who become PPPK, assistance to communities affected by natural disasters and in the field of government. The community asks the people’s representatives to fight for the results of the Musrembangdes and so on.

In line with each spokesperson requesting that what each reporter conveyed could be taken into consideration by the executive in future development policies, the Plenary Meeting ended with the signing of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD Decree regarding the report on the results of the Recess implementation by the Deputy Chair of the Provincial DPRD South Sumatra who chaired the plenary session, the draft of which had been previously read by the Head of the Trial and Legislation Section; Kurniati Sari, SH, M.Hum who represented the Provincial DPRD Secretary.
