South Sumatra Legislative Council Factions Conveys General View of the Draft Regional Regulation on Accountability for the Implementation of the 2021 FY Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – After the Plenary Meeting of the LI (51) last (Wednesday, 8/6) the Governor of South Sumatra; H. Herman Deru delivered an explanation of the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) on Accountability for the Implementation of the Provincial Budget. South Sumatra Fiscal Year (FY) 2021, today (Monday, 13/6) the factions conveyed their General Views on the said Raperda.

The LI (51) Plenary Meeting continued with the agenda of Submission of the General Views of the factions on the Raperda on accountability for the Implementation of the Prov. South Sumatra FY 2021 led by the Deputy Chairperson of the Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD). South Sumatra; H. Muchendi, M. SE, attended by the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra; Ir. H. Mawardi Yahya and OPD Representatives and other invited guests.

In turn, each faction spokesman expressed his views, starting with the Golkar Party Faction with a spokesperson; Ersangkut, S.Psi, then the PDIP Faction was read out by Hj. Sumiati, SH, MM, then the Gerindra Faction was read by Drs. H. Solehan Ismail, the Democratic Faction delivered by Azmi Shofix, SR., SIP, the PKB Faction delivered by Fathan Qoribi, ST, the Nasdem Party Faction delivered by Dr. Ir. H. Syamsul Bahri, MM, the PKS Faction delivered by Mgs. H. Syaiful Padli, ST, MM, the PAN faction delivered by Toyep Rakembang, S.Ag, and finally the Hanura Perindo Faction delivered by Ahmad Firdaus Ishak, SE., M.Si.

In line with the general view, the factions expressed their appreciation for the Unqualified Opinion (WTP) on the financial statements by the BPK RI Representative of South Sumatra which has been achieved for the eighth time in a row since 2014.

Furthermore, the factions highlighted Regional Financial Management; Regional Original Revenue Performance, Regional Expenditure Performance and Inputs and Suggestions for better regional development.

After the nine factions of the DPRD Prov. South Sumatra conveyed his general view, then the Plenary Meeting was suspended to give the executive the opportunity to prepare his answer which will be submitted on Friday, June 17. (ojn/ril)
