Palembang, The Indonesia Post – After the Plenary Meeting Agenda LXXXIII (83), previously on April 22 2024, the leadership and members of the South Sumatra Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD) listened to the South Sumatra Governor’s explanation of the 6 Draft Regional Regulations (Raperda) of South Sumatra Province; consisting of 4 New Draft Regional Regulations, 2 Follow-up Draft Regional Regulations, today (29 April 2024) the factions expressed their general views on the said Draft Regional Regulations at the follow-up Plenary Meeting LXXXIII (83).
Plenary Meeting LXXXIII (83) First Level Discussion continued with the agenda General views of South Sumatra Provincial DPRD Fractions on the South Sumatra Governor’s Explanation of the 6 South Sumatra Provincial Draft Regional Regulations led by the Deputy Chair of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD; H.M, Giri Ramanda N Kiemas, SE, MM attended by Acting. The Governor of South Sumatra represented by the Regional Secretary; Ir. S.A. Supriono, OPD Representatives and other invited guests.
Taking turns, 9 (nine) South Sumatra Provincial DPRD factions conveyed their general views, starting with the presentation of the general views of the Golongan Karya Party (Golkar) faction read by Ferdian Irawan SE, followed by the PDI Perjuangan faction read by Hj. Tina Malinda, SE, M.Si then the Gerindra Faction was read by Prima Salam, SH, MM, Presentation of the General Views of the Democratic Party Faction was read by; Tamtama Tanjung, SH followed by the PKB Fraction read by Antoni Yuzar, SH., MH, then the Nasdem Party Faction read by Sri Sutandi, SE, MBA, then the PKS Faction read by H. Suhada Sarbini, the PAN Faction by Hj. Nurmala Dewi, S.Sos and ended with a reading of the General View of the Hanura Perindo Faction by Pipa Sardi, SE.

In general, the factions support the 6 Draft Regional Regulations for continued discussion. The hopes of the factions include:
1. Hoping that the Draft Regional Regulation on Regional Spatial Planning for South Sumatra Province for 2023-2043 in the future implementation of this Draft Regional Regulation can truly optimally coordinate between the Provincial Government and the Regency/City, so that there is compatibility between the Provincial RT/RW and the Regency/City and that supervision and enforcement is needed The regulations also provide strict sanctions for violators.
2. Expect the Draft Regional Regulation on the Implementation of Environmental Protection and Management in its implementation, the government and officials can work together in monitoring and taking firm action against the community, especially companies that carry out activities that can damage the environment, ensuring that the development process first through strategic environmental studies is absolutely necessary. looking at the overall impact on ecological regional units, as well as restoring areas that have experienced quite high degradation of environmental quality.
3. Expecting the Draft Regional Regulation concerning the Second Amendment to Regional Regulation Number 14 of 2016 concerning the Formation and Structure of Regional Apparatus of South Sumatra Province, in its implementation, Brida asked Brida to take measurable strategic steps in order to support innovators in South Sumatra in developing and increasing innovation in all fields.
4. Expect that the Draft Regional Regulation on the Long Term Regional Development Plan for South Sumatra Province for 2025-2045 will be able to answer the dreams of all the people of South Sumatra in the next 20 years.
5. Expecting the Draft Regional Regulation regarding Changes in the Legal Form of PT. South Sumatra People’s Credit Bank Becomes PT. In its implementation, the People’s Economic Bank of South Sumatra (Perseroda) is able to ensure that the management of PT BPR Sumsel is managed professionally, improving its performance and performance as well as providing good services and facilities for the community so that the economy continues to move dynamically and can maximize the contribution to regional income.
6. Expecting the Draft Regional Regulation regarding PT. In its implementation, the South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung Regional Development Bank (Perseroda) can independently achieve profit-seeking goals, including obtaining capital, managing assets, managing Human Resources (HR), apart from being able to answer the challenges of changing habits, traditions and work ethics. Human resources must continue to be improved so that the performance of private companies can compete with the performance of national private banks and contribute more to regional income.
After the Fractions expressed their General Views, the Plenary Meeting was adjourned to further provide the executive with the opportunity to provide responses and/or the Governor’s answer which will be presented at the Plenary Meeting on May 2 2024, at the same time continuing with the formation of Special Committees to discuss the Draft Regional Regulation in question.
