Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Leaders and Members of the Legislative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province listened to the South Sumatra Governor’s explanation regarding the proposed regional regulations (Raperda) for changes to the 2023 FY Regional Budget (APBD) at the LXVII Plenary Meeting (67) (Thursday/3/8/2023).
The Plenary Meeting was Chaired by the Chair of the Provincial DPRD. South Sumatra; Hj. RA, Anita Noeringhati, SH, MH, accompanied by Deputy Chairmen of the Prov. DPRD. South Sumatra; Kartika Sandra Desi, SH, MM and H. Muchendi M, SE, attended by the Governor of South Sumatra; H. Herman Deru, SH, MM and Regional Secretary; Ir. S.A. Supriono, OPD Representatives and other invited guests.
Before listening to the Explanation of the Governor, the chairman of the DPRD Prov. South Sumatra explained the series of agendas at the LXVII (67) plenary meeting which started today (3/7/2023) until 11 August 2023, which was the final agenda, namely decision making in the form of approval of changes to the 2023 FY APBD.
In the governor’s explanation, important points were conveyed in the 2023 APBD Amendments based on the Memorandum of Agreement on KUA Amendments and PPAS FY 2023 Amendments, with the following explanation:
A. Regional Income.
In the Draft Provincial APBD Amendments. South Sumatra FY 2023 regional income is planned at Rp. 11,414,544,966,242.00 compared to regional income before changes to the APBD FY 2023 amounting to Rp. 10,744,536,321,400.00, an increase of Rp. 670,008,644,842.00 or 6.24 %
B. Regional Shopping
In the draft revised APBD for the 2023 Fiscal Year, expenditure is planned at IDR 11,371,462,008,715.00, compared to regional expenditure before the 2023 APBD amendment of IDR 10,511,755,061,412.00, an increase of IDR. 859,706,947,303.00 or an increase of 8.18%.
B. Regional Financing
1. Receipt of Financing
In the Draft Revised APBD for the 2023 Fiscal Year, funding receipts are planned to be Rp. 322,917,042,473.00 compared to the receipt of financing before the changes in the APBD for the 2023 Fiscal Year of Rp. 133,218,740,012.00 experienced an increase of IDR 189,698,302,461.00 or 142.40%.
4. Financing Expenditures
In the Draft Revised APBD for Fiscal Year 2023, financing spending has not changed by Rp. 366,000,000,000.00.
After listening to the Governor’s explanation, the plenary meeting was suspended to give the Prov. DPRD factions an opportunity. South Sumatra is preparing its responses, views and opinions which will be presented at the follow-up plenary session on August 4 2023. (ojn/ril)
