Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Legislative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province (Sumsel) passed the 2024 Regional Regulation Formation Program (Propemperda) at the LXX Plenary Session (70), led by the Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH, MH, accompanied by the Deputy Chairmen of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD; Hj. Kartika Sandra Desi, SH, MM and H. Muchendi Mahzareki, SE were attended by the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra; Mr Ir. H. Mawadi Yahya and OPD Representatives as well as other invited guests. Thursday, (31/8).
Prior to the ratification of the Propemperda, the Leaders and Members of the South Sumatra DPRD listened to the explanation of the Regional Regulation Formation Body (Bapemperda) of the South Sumatra DPRD chaired by H. Toyeb Rambang, S.Ag, and was read out by the reporter Tamtama Tanjung with the main explanation being that there were 7 (seven) Draft Regional Regulations (Raperda) in the 2024 Propemperda, consisting of 4 (four) Draft Regional Regulations initiated by the South Sumatra DPRD and 3 (Three) Draft Regional Regulations Proposed by the Executive.
The seven Regional Regulations Drafts (Raperda) are as follows:
A. Proposed Raperda Initiative DPRD South Sumatra Province as many as 4 (four) Raperda namely:
Raperda on Preservation of Marga Cultural Values in Society.
Raperda on Utilization of River Channels and or Inland Waters.
Raperda on Arrangements for the Distribution and Allotment of Irrigation Water.
Raperda on Protection and Social Welfare of the Elderly.
B. Proposed Executive Raperda of 3 (Three) Raperda:
1. Raperda on Accountability for Revenue Budget Implementation.
and Regional Expenditure of South Sumatra Province for Fiscal Year 2023.
2. Raperda on Amendments to the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget.
South Sumatra Province Fiscal Year 2024.
3. Raperda on the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget for the Province of South Sumatra for the 2025 Fiscal Year.
After the explanation from Bapemperda DPRD Sumsel, the plenary meeting was continued with the procession of signing the DPRD’s decision on the 2024 Propemperda, the draft of which had already been read out by the Secretary of the DPRD Sumsel; H. Aprizal, S.Ag, SE, M.Sc. (ojn/ril)
