South Sumatra Legislative Council Together with the Governor Agree on KUA PAS Regional Budget for Fiscal Year 2023

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – After discussing the General Budget Policy (KUA) and the Provisional Budget Priority and Ceiling (PPAS) of the Regional Revenues and Expenditure Budget (APBD) for Fiscal Year (TA) 2023 by the Budget Agency (Banggar) of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD with the Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD) of South Sumatra Province from 19 to 21 July 2022, followed by a Consultation Meeting/Synchronization of Commissions with Work Partners/OPD of South Sumatra Province from 22 July to 4 August 2022, followed by a follow-up meeting Banggar, TAPD together with the leadership of the Commission on August 5 and 10, 2022.

South Sumatra Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD) Finally agreed on the KUA PAS TA 2023, this agreement was stated in the form of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the leadership of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD and the Governor on LIll Plenary Meeting (53) DPRD of South Sumatra Province with the Agenda for Signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Leaders of the DPRD of South Sumatra Province and the Governor of South Sumatra on KUA and PPAS APBD FY 2023 (Thursday,
11/8/2023).

The Plenary Meeting is chaired by the Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD; Hj. RA. Anita Noeringhati, SH, MH accompanied by Deputy Chair H Muchendi, MSE, attended by the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru, Regional Secretary Ir SA Supriono, OPD Representatives and other invited guests.

Strart plenary session with remarks from the Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Hj RA Anita Noeringhati, SH, MH, who expressed her appreciation and gratitude to all parties who have discussed KUA PPAS FY 2023.

“The highest appreciation goes to the leadership and all members of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD as well as members of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD Budget Board, the Governor and Deputy Governor of South Sumatra and their ranks, as well as the Team Regional government budgets that have worked, discusses the draft general policy of the Regional Budget (KUA) and the Draft Priority and Temporary Budget Ceiling (PPAS) of South Sumatra Province for Fiscal Year 2023,” she said.

Furthermore, the Chairperson of the DPRD for the Province of South Sumatra explained the points of agreement between the Legislature and the Executive in the KUA PPAS FY 2023:

1. Regional Income

Regional Revenue for Fiscal Year 2023 is Rp. 10,744,536,321,400.00 an increase of Rp. 841,965,289,942.00 or 8.50% compared to the 2022 FY APBD of Rp. 9,902,571,031,458.00.

2. Regional Shopping

Regional Expenditure for FY 2023 is Rp. 10,511,755,061,412.00
increased by Rp. 745,284,029,954.00 or
7.63% compared to the 2022 FY APBD of Rp. 9,766,471,031,458.00
1. Regional Financing
1.) Financing Receipt
Fiscal year 2023 Rp. 133,218,740,012.00 or
41.11% compared to FY 2022 of Rp.
226,200,000,000.00

3.) Financing Expenditure

Fiscal Year 2023 Rp. 366,000,000,000.00
experienced an increase of Rp. 3,700,000,000.00 or
1.02% when compared to FY 2022 of Rp. 362,300,000,000.00

After the remarks from the Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, the procession continued with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Leaders of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD and the South Sumatran Governor on the KUA and PPAS APBD for the 2023 fiscal year.

This was followed by the Governor’s similar remarks explaining what were the points of agreement between the DPRD and the Governor as well as thanks for the well-established partnership between the executive and the legislature, and finally the meeting was closed with a prayer. (ojn/ril)
