The inspection to the fly over construction site was immediately commanded by the Chairman of Commission IV of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Ir. Holda M.Si.
Holda said that this monitoring activity was aimed at not only seeing directly the work process in the field, but also listening to complaints and obstacles being faced by service providers and contractors.
“Alhamdulillah, today, we are very enthusiastic in carrying out surveillance which is for the common good and for the community at large. With the construction of this flyover, we hope that in the future the traffic at the Force 66 crossroads can be immediately addressed so that the public can benefit from the construction of this flyover,” said the politician from the Democratic Party.
She said that her party’s arrival together with the Department of Public Works, and Spatial Planning of the Province of South Sumatra was to see firsthand the progress of the Fly Over construction and the progress that had been made by the implementers of the activity.
“Alhamdulillah, the construction of this flyover has gradually started to run, there has been quite good progress and indeed for now there are a few obstacles, God willing, in the near future these obstacles can be overcome and resolved,” she said.
Furthermore, Holda also explained that related to the budget, his party has allocated the budget for land compensation to the South Sumatra provincial government through the PU, and TR Offices of the South Sumatra Province.
“The budget is ready and there are no significant obstacles for land compensation, we have prepared the money and the budget is already available,” she said.
In the same place, Deputy Chairman of Commission IV of the DPRD of South Sumatra province, H. Hasbi Hasadiki added, monitoring activities were carried out to determine whether the process was in accordance with the schedule or not.
“The South Sumatra DPRD together with the South Sumatra Provincial Government also play a role by contributing to providing budgetary support for land acquisition, and this requires great support from all parties so that the construction of this flyover can be carried out properly and smoothly so that we can immediately feel the benefits of its construction,” he added.
He admitted that for now, one of the obstacles is the existence of several unresolved land parcels.
“So we hope that there will be a persuasive approach to the community carried out by the South Sumatra provincial government which in this case is represented by the PUBM and TR South Sumatra Offices who have the authority to overcome these problems.
It should be noted that currently the progress that has been achieved for the construction of this fly over has reached 15 percent, while the inhibiting factor is utility,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Plh. Head of Department of Public Works, Highways and Spatial Planning of South Sumatra Province, Ir. Darma Budhy through the Office of the Secretariat, Ir. Novian Aswardani ST MM explained that the construction of the fly over had gone according to plan.
“However, the obstacles to development are utilities, as we all know in Indonesia, there are several networks such as telephones, clean water networks, gas networks, all of which are on the shoulder of the protocol road.
This means that we have to shift or move all these utilities by immediately coordinating with all existing agencies (stakeholders) in order to provide services in the form of security and comfort for the people who are along the development path so that people do not feel disturbed by the construction of this fly over, ” call Novian Aswardani.
He explained that the existing utilities throughout the construction of this flyover were the existence of a high-voltage gas pipeline, so there were several constructions that had to be added in order to have an impact on strengthening development.
“Let’s hope that the construction of this flyover can run according to our common expectations.
We also apologize to the public if in the process of constructing this fly over, it may in some time disrupt the flow of traffic around the construction site of the fly over.
But rest assured that one day the impact we will feel will be the creation of a smooth traffic flow so that it can break down the congestion that exists around the flyover construction site,” he explained.
Meanwhile, still in the same place, Head of Road and Bridge Development Center for the Implementation of the Sumatran National Road III, Ryandra, greatly appreciated the monitoring and inspections carried out by Commission IV of the South Sumatra DPRD together with the PU and TR Offices of South Sumatra Province.
“Because this activity is believed to have a positive impact, besides being able to see directly the work process, we can also see the actual conditions that occur in the field.
So that the Commission IV of the South Sumatra DPRD can immediately follow up on the results of this meeting. And on Monday, we can explain the progress of the Fly Over Development and the problems being faced to Commission IV of the South Sumatra DPRD,” he said.
According to Randra, whatever problems are being faced by service providers and activity implementers, the best solution will be found for the realization of the fly over construction.
“Indeed, we admit that in the development process the obstacle is the utility, but we are trying our best to make the fly over construction work as planned or on schedule,” he explained.
“For now, we admit that the work process is delayed by minus 3 percent. Meanwhile, the progress of the fly over construction work has reached 15 percent. We are targeting that by the end of this year the progress of the construction of the Simpang Sekip Fly Over will reach 38 percent,” he said. (ojn/bbs)
