South Sumatra Provincial Legislative Council and Governor Agree on 3 Raperda and 1 Raperda to extend the discussion time

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province along with the Governor of South Sumatra agreed on 3 Draft Regional Regulations (Raperda) and 1 Raperda for an extension of the discussion time, at the XLVI (46) Plenary with the agenda of submitting reports on the results of discussions and special research on 4 (four) Prov Raperda. South Sumatra, Thursday (17/3/2022).

The Plenary Meeting was chaired by the Chairperson of the Provincial DPRD. South Sumatra; Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH, accompanied by the Deputy Chairpersons of the Provincial DPRD. South Sumatra; Kartika Sandra Desi, SH and H. Muchendi M, SE, attended by the Governor of South Sumatra; H. Herman Deru, S.H., M.M, OPD Representatives and other invited guests both in person and virtual.

The agreement was taken after listening to the Special Committee’s (Pansus) discussion and research report on the Raperda, in turn the spokesperson for the Special Committee read the report, starting with Special Committee I which was read out by Lindawati Syaropi, SH, MM, Special Committee II read out by Ike Mayasari, SH, MH, Then the Special Committee III was read by Ir. Holda, M.Si and finally the Special Committee IV was read by Dra. Hj. Nilawati.

In the report of the Special Committee which had discussed starting from March 1 to 16, 2022, the Special Committee I, II, IV concluded that they agreed to the Raperda that had been discussed, while the Special Committee III proposed an extension of time, then by acclamation the participants of the plenary session agreed on what had been concluded. The Special Committees.

The three Raperda that have been agreed between the Provincial DPRD. South Sumatra and the Governor of South Sumatra, namely:
1. Raperda concerning Revocation of Regional Regulation Number 6 of 2020 concerning Management of Production Forests and Protected Forests in South Sumatra Province discussed by the Special Committee I
2. Raperda concerning Amendments to Regional Regulation of the Province of South Sumatra Number 3 of 2014 concerning Provision of Incentives and Ease of Investment discussed by the Special Committee II
3. Raperda on Retribution for the Use of Foreign Workers discussed by the Special Committee IV

And the Raperda whose discussion time was extended are: Raperda on Construction Services discussed by the Special Committee III

After the Participants agreed with the conclusions of the Special Committee – the Special Committee, it was followed by a procession of signing a joint decision between the Provincial DPRD. South Sumatra and the Governor of South Sumatra against the four Raperda, whose draft Joint Decree was read out by the Secretary of the Provincial DPRD. South Sumatra; Ramadhan S. Bassheban, S.H. The Plenary Meeting ended with the agenda of hearing the final opinion of the Governor of South Sumatra who conveyed the background and urgency of the four Raperda and also came to the same conclusion, namely to agree on what had been decided with the Provincial DPRD.
