Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Regional Secretary of South Sumatra Province, Drs. H. Edward Candra, MH virtually attended the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) presentation regarding the planned MoU for regional government support in providing land for the construction of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) at the South Sumatra Command Center (Saturday, 10/5/2025).
This activity was carried out to ensure regional readiness in supporting the acceleration of the central government’s program in providing free lunches to students in South Sumatra. Where the regional government is asked to be able to provide land to be used for the construction of SPPG in each Regency/City in South Sumatra.
On that occasion, the Expert Staff of the Head of BGN, Bobby Kusuma said that the construction of SPPG & Healthy Kitchen is targeted for completion in September 2025.
Therefore, he hopes that the Regional Government, especially the Regional Secretaries who attended the virtual presentation, will immediately record three locations of land or land that have been certified which will later be reviewed by BGN to build SPPG in each Regency and City in South Sumatra.
“I hope we can get feedback regarding this land no later than May 15, 2025 and hopefully by May 18, 2025 the discussion regarding land use permits in South Sumatra will be completed,” he said while giving his presentation.
Responding to this, Drs. H. Edward Candra, MH conveyed to all District/City Regional Secretaries, both those present in person at the South Sumatra Command Center and those present virtually, to immediately provide data regarding the three points of land locations that can be used by BGN. (ojn/ril)
