Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The plan to build the Institute of Domestic Government (IPDN) Sumsel Campus in Pagar Alam continues to be intensified so that it can be implemented immediately. For the allocation of the development budget, this time the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru attended the Coordination Meeting with the Director General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia and the Deputy Chancellor of IPDN for Administration, Dr. Drs. Rizari, M.B.A, M.Si virtually.
“We convey that the South Sumatra Provincial Government with the support of 5 provinces in the South Sumatra region really hopes that an IPDN campus can be established in the South Sumatra region,” HD said.
HD added that if there was a delay in the construction of IPDN in South Sumatra because there were financial problems in the proposed development, where in the proposal letter for the construction of the IPDN Sumsel campus to be one with the IPDN Aceh campus, it was clear that the use of the budget was different. For South Sumatra it uses the APBD while Aceh uses the APBN.
“The essence of building the IPDN Sumsel campus is a need, not just to get a dashing status. Land readiness is very available in Pagaralam City, besides that we have carried out calculations and planning well so that we believe we are able to build and facilitate the completeness of the IPDN Sumsel campus,” said HD.
HD hopes that the Director General can provide support and reconsider the continuation of the South Sumatra IPDN development.
Responding to this, the Director General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Astera Primanto Bhakti conveyed that he understood what was proposed by the South Sumatra Provincial Government, but he had to clarify first, namely a statement regarding areas that were ready because higher education services were under the central government, although still open for regions to prepare infrastructure and buildings.
Also present were the Mayor of Pagaralam, Alpian Maskoni SH., Chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD, Hj. RA. Anita Noeringhati, SH., MH, and the Heads of OPD Prov. Sumsel (online and offline). (mhn/ril)
