Bandung, The Indonesia Post – The Minister of Cooperatives and MSMEs appreciates the South Sumatra Province and the West Java Province, who continue to encourage MSMEs by displaying products on National MSME Day.
“I give my appreciation to the Governors of South Sumatra and West Java, this activity is an opportunity for MSMEs to promote their products,” said the Minister of Cooperatives and MSMEs during the Commemoration of National MSME Day at Cihampelas Walk, Bandung, West Java Province, Friday (12/8).
Moreover, he continued, on this National MSME Day, the two provinces have signed a cooperation agreement in order to strengthen inter-provincial trade.
Meanwhile, the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru felt proud because South Sumatra had the honor because South Sumatra’s MSMEs were able to display it at Harnas/ National Day.
According to Mr. Development of South Sumatra, this collaboration was carried out so that the government would have more maximum intervention in encouraging MSMEs.
Besides that, besides South Sumatra encouraging MSMEs, Herman Deru continued, South Sumatra continues to strive to reduce poverty through the South Sumatra Food Independent Movement (GSMP) program.
Herman Deru hopes that the 2023 MSME Harnas can be held in South Sumatra so that there is a balance. “Earlier we were as close as West Java and South Sumatra collaborating, we hope that MSME Harnas and Cooperatives Day will be united and we are ready to host,” he said.
In the same place, the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, admitted that he was proud of the implementation of the Harnas MSME activities in West Java, especially since the prima donna of this activity is the Province of South Sumatra.
Then the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs in the development of Skopi with BNI, Mandiri, BJB, Associations and other Financial Institutions witnessed by the Minister of MSMEs, the Governor of South Sumatra and the Governor of West Java.
Also present, the Chairman of the DPRD of South Sumatra, Hj. R.A Anita Noeringhati, Head of the South Sumatra Dekranasda, Hj Febrita Lustia HD, Head of West Java Dekranasda Atalia Praratya Ridwan Kamil, Deputy Chair of the South Sumatra Dekranasda Hj Fauziah Mawardi Yahya, Head of South Sumatra Kormi Hj Samantha Tivani HD, Heads of South Sumatra/West Java OPD and Heads of Agencies/Institutions.
