Palembang, The Indonesia Post – After the LXI Plenary Meeting Agenda (61) Previously (20/2) Legislative Council (DPRD) Prov. South Sumatra (Sumsel) Formed 4 special committees (pansus) and conducted discussions and research on the 4 Draft Regional Regulations (Raperda) from 21 February to 2 March 2023, today. Friday (03/03/2023).
The committees submitted their discussion reports. In line with the reports submitted by the 4 special committees, they asked for an extension of the discussion period.
The LXI Plenary Meeting (61) continued with the presentation of the Discussion and Research Reports of the Special Committees of the DPRD Prov.Sumsel led by the Chairperson of the DPRD Prov. South Sumatra; Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati, SH, MH accompanied by Deputy Chairperson of the Provincial DPRD. South Sumatra; H. Muchendi Mahzareki, SE, attended by the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra; H. Mawardi Yahya, Plt. Secretary of the Provincial DPRD South Sumatra; H. Aprizal, S.Ag, SE, M.Si, Regional Secretary; Ir. S.A.Supriono, attended by representatives of the OPD (Regional Apparatus Organization) and other invited guests.
The Special Committees took turns submitting their Reports, starting with the Special Committee I with spokesperson Ir. Holda, M.Sc, who discussed the Raperda on the Implementation of Environmental Protection and Management, followed by Submission of the Pasus II Report which discussed the Raperda on Regional Taxes and Regional Retribution with spokesperson H. Alfrenzi Panggarbesi, S.Si, Then the Special Committee III Report by Drs. Tamrin, M.Sc, who discussed the Raperda on Housing Development and Development Plans and Settlement Areas for the South Sumatra Province, Finally, the Special Committee IV report read by Andie Dinialdie, SE, which discussed the Raperda on Amendments to the Regional Regulation on Spatial Plans for the South Sumatra Province 2023 – 2043.
All of the Special Committees conveyed their final conclusions on the discussion of their research by asking for a maximum extension of 1 year, which essentially aims to discuss it in its entirety, in depth, besides waiting for the ratification of the regulations that form the basis of the Raperda in question.
After reading the Pansus Report, it was followed by the procession of signing the DPRD Decree regarding the Special Committee Report, the draft of which had been read out beforehand by Plt. Secretary of the Provincial DPRD South Sumatra; H. Aprizal, S.Ag, SE, M.Si and has been approved by all meeting participants. The Plenary Session ends with listening to the Governor’s Final Opinion/Remarks on the Special Committee’s Report, which in essence appreciates the performance of the special committee and understands that decisions must be taken carefully and thoroughly because the Raperda is meant to concern the people’s livelihood.
