Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The 2025 Leadership Orientation Learning for Regional Heads was opened by the Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian at the Tidar Valley Military Academy (Akmil) Magelang, Central Java, Saturday (22/2/2025).
The activity was attended by regional heads including Governors, Regents, and Mayors throughout Indonesia wearing Satpol PP uniforms. A lively atmosphere appeared to color the activity.
In his remarks, the Minister of Home Affairs explained that the Regional Head retreat activity was very important because it was a momentum to get to know each other. With this coordination, Regional Heads can implement work programs synchronously and synergistically.
“Regional Heads cannot work alone. Governors cannot work alone without the support of Regents, Mayors. Conversely, Regents, Mayors cannot work without the support of Governors. Between Regents also cannot work alone,” said the Minister of Home Affairs.
In this retreat, the Minister of Home Affairs praised a number of regions that had utilized the forum to conduct an informal approach between Regional Heads. He hopes that the togetherness that is established will be able to help Regional Heads to reduce the barriers that have often occurred so far.
Also present at the opening were Governor of Lemhanas TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, Governor of Akmil along with the main officials of Akmil, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto, and high-ranking officials of ministries/institutions. (ojn/ril)
