Deputy Governor of South Sumatra Hopes KONI Muara Enim Will Create Superior Sports Seeds

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Deputy Governor of South Sumatra, H. Cik Ujang attended the Inauguration of the KONI Management of Muara Enim Regency for the 2025-2029 term of office at the Serasan Sekundang Hall, Muara Enim Regency (Wednesday, 7/5/2025).

Through his remarks, Cik Ujang said that the Inauguration of the KONI Management of Muara Enim Regency was an important momentum in advancing sports development in the Muara Enim Regency area. The inaugurated management is expected to be able to bring Muara Enim Regency to a higher level of achievement in the field of sports.

Cik Ujang emphasized that the position as KONI management is not just a title, but a mandate to advance sports in the region.

“We hope that the KONI management can be the driving force for sports development in Muara Enim Regency,” said Cik Ujang.

Cik Ujang also hopes that the KONI management can establish good relations and coordination with the parent organization of the sports branch so that KONI can recruit superior seeds, improve the quality of training, and create a healthy competitive climate.

“The challenges ahead are not easy, especially with the 2025 PORPROV XV in Musi Banyuasin Regency. However, with hard work and strong commitment, I am sure KONI Muara Enim can become one of the regions that achieves the best sports achievements in South Sumatra,” he said.

On the same occasion, the Deputy Regent of Muafa Enim, Hj. Sumarni expressed her gratitude and thanks for the Deputy Governor’s presence at the inauguration of the KONI Muara Enim Regency Leadership.

She hopes that Muafa Enim Regency can achieve second place in the 2025 PORPROV XV in Musi Banyuasin Regency next October.

“The Muara Enim Regency Government is committed to supporting all KONI programs in advancing sports in South Sumatra, especially in Muara Enim Regency,” said Hj. Sumarni.

She also ensured that the Muara Enim Regency Government will focus on finding and developing local athlete seeds without looking for athletes from outside the region. (ojn/ril)
