Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Regional National Craft Council (Dekranasda) of South Sumatra Province (Sumsel) has shown a strong commitment to developing the potential of the young generation in the fashion sector through the opening of the 2025 Fashion Incubation Training.

The event, which took place in the Mahameru Room, Palembang, on Wednesday (7/5/2025), was opened directly by the Chairperson of Dekranasda South Sumatra and Chairperson of TP PKK South Sumatra, Hj. Feby Herman Deru. Present on that occasion were Expert Staff of TP PKK South Sumatra Lidyawati Cik Ujang, Chairperson of DWP South Sumatra, Desy Edward Candra, and Heads of OPD South Sumatra.

Feby said that this program, which has been running for four consecutive years, initially focused on MSMEs to increase the selling value of their products. Now, this program is spreading its wings by targeting young people who excel in the field of fashion design.

“This activity educates us on how to make valuable products at affordable prices, adapt to the latest market trends and remain creative,” said Hj Feby.

Furthermore, Feby hopes that through this training, the younger generation can be independent and not give up easily in facing challenges.

“Hopefully this will be a stepping stone to becoming a successful youth, and their work will be displayed at the Rakon and Rakornas PKK in June,” she hoped.

Previously, the Chief Executive and Head of the South Sumatra Youth and Sports Agency, Rudi Irawan, S. Sos., M.
