Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Not only holding an open house for 2 consecutive days at Griya Agung, after receiving guests, namely Regional Heads throughout South Sumatra and the community, South Sumatra Governor Herman Deru accompanied by the Chairperson of the South Sumatra PKK TP Feby Deru and family, carried out a return visit, on Sunday (22/03/2026) afternoon.
The visit began with a visit to the Deputy Governor of South Sumatra, Cik Ujang, then to the Regional Secretary, Edward Candra, continued to the Commander of the II/Sriwijaya Military Command, Major General TNI Ujang Darwis, then visited the residence of the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Pol Shandi Nugroho, and the Chairman of the South Sumatra DPRD, Andie Dinialdie.
The Governor regularly visits the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), especially during Eid al-Fitr, to strengthen synergy, solidarity, and harmony between institutions. These visits aim to maintain security stability, strengthen cooperation, and improve public services for the advancement and welfare of the regional community. (mhn/ril)
