Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairman of the South Sumatra Provincial Craft Council (Dekranasda) Hj. Febrita Lustia Herman Deru directly led the South Sumatra Provincial Dekranasda preparation meeting at Griya Agung Palembang, Wednesday (13/1/2021).
Feby said the preparatory meeting was deliberately invited by the relevant OPDs because they have activities that are part of the South Sumatra Dekranasda work program.
According to her, the South Sumatra Dekranasda regional work meetings (Rakerda), which will be held on March 4 to 5, 2021, will be held in conjunction with the South Sumatra TP PKK Coordination Meeting because the Heads of the District and City Dekranasda are the Heads of the TP PKK. The plan is to be implemented at the Arya Duta Hotel in Palembang.
Feby hopes that the South Sumatra handicraft products will be exhibited at the Rakerda such as songket and different kinds of wedding dresses from various regions in South Sumatra.
“The goal is that people, especially the younger generation, can find out that this typical South Sumatra songket cloth has several types. Then, the wedding dress must be determined which one will be a typical South Sumatra wedding dress,” said Feby.
At the South Sumatra Dekranasda Rakerda, there will be a parade and a Kriya Sriwijaya fashion show. Then there will be the South Sumatra Dekranasda Award by giving appreciation to the District and City Dekranasda.
“The Rakerda Dekranasda and TP PKK Coordination Meeting will show Sriwijaya handicraft products so that the South Sumatra craft center is increasingly known to the public. Since the end of December 2020, we have collaborated with Bank Indonesia for the development of Sriwijaya Crafts and are supported through the Dekranasda work program,” she said.
At the meeting, there was also an explanation of the South Sumatra Regional Secretariat program in 2021 which had been budgeted for in the South Sumatra Province APBD Ceiling and a joint discussion was held for its implementation starting from February to the end of 2021. Also attending were the Head of the South Sumatra Provincial DWP, Renny Devy Nasrun Umar, as well as the OPD heads in the South Sumatra Provincial Government. (ray/ril)
