Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru (HD) attended the inauguration of Building C Makodam II/Sriwijaya by the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (TNI), General TNI Dudung Abdurachman.
The construction of the building was initiated by Pangdam II/Sriwijaya, Major General TNI Agus Suhardi through a grant from the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru.
HD said, South Sumatra Province is a zero conflict area thanks to the togetherness of the Forkopimda of South Sumatra Province to unite to realize Advanced Sumsel for All.
“I don’t think the South Sumatra Provincial Government’s assistance and grants given to Kodam II/Sriwijaya are commensurate and comparable to what the TNI has done, especially Kodam II/Sriwijaya in the South Sumatra region,” HD said.
The Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army, General TNI Dudung Abdurachman, believes that South Sumatra Forward For All will be realized because of a report from the Regional Military Commander that the development in South Sumatra is extraordinary.
“I have confidence, because when I was the Dandim in South Sumatra, the South Sumatran Governor H Herman Deru I already knew. So I’m not surprised if he became governor,” said Dudung Abdurachman.
According to him, from the various regions he visited, only this time there was a governor who was very extraordinary, indeed the TNI AD budget was very limited so that as regional head the Governor of South Sumatra provided various grants for the TNI.
Meanwhile, Pangdam II/Sriwijaya, Maj. Gen. TNI Agus Suhardi, said that apart from building C, there were also improvements to the Korem O44 Gapo Building, a canteen and a school, assisted by the Governor of South Sumatra. (ojn/ril)
