HD: Determine the Standard of Living Cost to Reduce Poverty Rate

Empat Lawang, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru accompanied by the Head of South Sumatra family welfare (TP PKK) Hj. Febrita Lustia Herman Deru attended the special plenary meeting of the House of Representatives (DPRD) Empat Lawang Regency on the occasion of the 14th Anniversary of Empat Lawang Regency.

In the framework of this 14th Anniversary, HD requested that the Regional Government (Pemkab) Empat Lawang continue to strive to reduce the poverty rate by pressing the cost of living limit as a parameter that affects it. Reducing the cost of living can be done by providing good infrastructure, good education, and facilities for the welfare of other communities.

“The Anniversary Celebration is carried out as a form of gratitude as well as a way of evaluating, introspecting on what has been, is being, and what will be done,” he said.

In addition, HD added, development needs to be supported with an attitude of non-blame and unity, which according to him currently Empat Lawang regional has become a conducive district with no differences of opinion in religion, custom, culture, this is due to the role of community leaders, if these components are united then its development can also be carried out well.

The Regent of Empat Lawang, H Joncik Muhammad, would like to thank the Governor especially for his assistance in the development of infrastructure in Empat Lawang, even though the assistance provided also continues to increase every year. We hope that assistance will continue to be provided for 2021 to realize development in Empat Lawang.

On that occasion, the Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru provided operational car assistance for the Chairperson of TP PKK Empat Lawang, Ny. Hj. Hepy Safriani Joncik.
