HD Appreciates Hidayatullah Mosque for Building Tahfidz House

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel) H Herman Deru invites the public, including religious leaders to continue to be productive in producing young people who have character and have an understanding and memorize the Qur’an.

As did the Hidyatullah mosque management which is located in Lorong Prodexim, Duku Village, Ilir Timur II District, Palembang.

Where without command, the mosque administrator took the initiative to establish a tahfidz house as a forum for the younger generation in the environment to learn religious knowledge.

“We certainly give appreciation to the mosque management who has built this tahfidz house. This means that there is an understanding of the importance of the tahfidz house in this mosque, even without an appeal,” said Herman Deru on the sidelines of his Friday safari at the mosque, Friday (8/10).

That way, he continued, the efforts of the South Sumatra Provincial Government to become a religious area can be quickly realized.

“We want the memorization of the Qur’an to spread to remote corners of South Sumatra. That’s why, we want one village with one tahfidz house,” he explained.

In addition, he also gave praise to the management of the Hidyatullah mosque. Because the younger generation who study at the tahfidz house is free of charge.

However, Herman Deru also reminded that the tahfidz house should still pay attention to the teachers. In fact, Herman Deru provided his assistance so that the operation of the tahfidz house continued.

“We provide assistance for the operation of this tahfidz house. The tahfidz home teachers should also get attention. I hope this assistance will be used for productive activities,” he said.

Also attending the Friday safari, Habib Mahdi bin Syahab, Ustad Solihin Hasibuan, and a number of officials within the South Sumatra Provincial Government. (ojn/ril)
