Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru said that this event was very useful and important because planning is something that is very important and it definitely starts with planning and will definitely result in success. There is no trial and error in planning.
This was stated when attending and at the same time opening the Public Consultation Forum for the 2024-2026 Regional Development Plan of Prov. South Sumatra.
“The preparation of the Regional Development Plan (RPD) is a navigation and must really pay close attention to both physical and non-physical implementation,” said Governor Herman Deru (HD).
HD stated that the preparation of the Regional Development Plan (RPD) is a mandate from the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 52 of 2022, which states that regional heads whose term of office ends in 2023, in order to prepare a Planning Document.
“This event is very important, we absorb inspiration by prioritizing legal and juridical aspects, sufficient finance and timeframe for execution. It must be the same frequency as the district/city and province and this synchronization should not be deviated and become a formality event and must be verified, not only the ritual must be correct and it should not be in vain. I ask that the consultation with ICRAF yield good results because three provinces in Indonesia, namely South Sumatra, East Java and South Sulawesi,” closed HD
Plt. Ka. Regional Development Planning Agency Prov. South Sumatra Regina Ariyanti, ST stated that a final program or design had to be made in March 2023 with the aim of absorbing the aspirations of all elements and elements related to carrying out regional development in South Sumatra
Followed by the signing of the MoU between Pemprov. Sumsel with ICRAF on Sustainable Landscapes for Addressing Climate Change, Food Security and Gender Equality, Especially in Peat Ecosystems in South Sumatra. (mhn/ril)
