Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru attended the Plenary Meeting LXIV (64) of the Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD). South Sumatra with the agenda of submitting the Governor’s explanation of the regional regulation on accountability for the implementation of the South Sumatra Province State Budget (APBD) for the 2022 Fiscal Year which was opened by the Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD, Hj. RA. Anita Noeringhati, SH, MH.
“The South Sumatra Provincial Government’s Financial Report for the 2022 Fiscal Year has been audited by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Representative for the Province of South Sumatra and submitted to the Governor and DPRD at the Special Plenary Meeting on May 10, 2023, and received an opinion Without Exception for the ninth time in a row,” said HD.
There are several main points expressed by HD on this occasion. Among other things, the asset value in 2022 of the South Sumatra Provincial Government increased by 5.82% from the previous Rp. 33.3 trillion to IDR 35.24 trillion.
In addition, related to the obligations/debt of the South Sumatra Provincial Government, it was explained that the value of the liabilities/debt of the South Sumatra Provincial Government amounted to IDR 1.32 trillion, a decrease of 9.03% from the previous year of IDR 1.44 trillion.
Then, the realization of the 2022 South Sumatra Province APBD is IDR 10.03 trillion or 94.35% of the budget of IDR 10.63 trillion (ten point six three trillion rupiah).
“The South Sumatra Provincial Government has made every effort to increase development in accordance with the priority scale set for 2022,” he said.
Efforts to increase Local Own Revenue, especially from managing separated regional assets, utilizing government-owned assets, and developing services
services through the Regional Public Service Agency continue to be carried out to fund development in the Province of South Sumatra.
“In addition, spending efficiency is always our concern, so that the APBD can be used as effectively and efficiently as possible in an effort to improve welfare society,” he concluded. (mhn/ril)
