On Friday Safari, Herman Deru Promotes Health Protocols

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – As a regional head, the Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru did not give up on inviting South Sumatra residents to comply with health protocols.

No exception in the Friday safari activities like what he did at the Ar-Rahman Mosque, Jalan Veteran, Ilir Timur I District, Palembang, Friday (11/9) afternoon.

In front of the congregation of the Ar-Rahman mosque, Governor Herman Deru said that complying with the helath protocol is one of the new adaptations that the people of South Sumatra must carry out in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic.

“This health protocol is a habit that must be carried out,” he said.

HD said, each region has its own policies in providing a sense of comfort for its citizens so as not to be exposed to Covid. However, in South Sumatra, he was not tired of inviting South Sumatra residents to continue to be disciplined in implementing health protocols.

“I urge the public to remain disciplined in wearing masks and avoiding crowds. This is the easiest step for us to do and the most likely to prevent Covid-19,” he said.

HD said even in the midst of the Covid pandemic. However, people’s economic activities must continue to run normally.

“The Covid-19 pandemic is a big test in order to increase faith and devotion to Allah SWT,” he said. (ojn/ril)
