Feby Deru Immediately Distributes 10,268 Balasa Packages for Creative Economy Players Affected by Covid

Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Chairperson of the Sumsel PKK TP Hj.Feby Deru, who is also the coach of the South Sumatra creative economy, directly received the delivery of the Balasa package from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) represented by Plt. Director of Organizing the Kemenparekraf Event, Edy Wardoyo, in Palembang, Friday (11/9).

Balasa is a ready-to-eat side dish assistance prepared by the central government to ease the burden on tourism actors, including the creative economy sector, craftsmen affected by Covid-19 in South Sumatra.

At least 10,268 reply packages were distributed at this second stage. Where previously 10 thousand reply packages had been given in the first stage. The balasa package consists of rice, sugar, cooking oil, canned sardines, wheat flour, and soy sauce.

Head of TP PKK Sumsel Feby Deru appreciated Kemenparekraf for providing assistance to tourism and creative economy actors in South Sumatra.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy for the assistance provided. Hopefully this assistance is beneficial and can encourage workers to remain enthusiastic,” she said while mentioning that the reciprocation package assistance will be distributed on target and immediately received by those who deserve it.

Meanwhile, Plt. Director of Organizing Events at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Edy Wardoyo said the impact of Covid-19 was very influential on the tourism industry and had an impact on workers as well as tourism actors and the creative economy. Therefore, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy wants to provide moral and material support for workers affected by Covid-19.

“Since the Covid-19 pandemic that has been really affected is the tourism industry. Therefore we are trying to help affected workers by providing response packages based on the data we received from the South Sumatra Disbudpar with a by name by address mechanism. Collaborating with the TNI-Polri. so that this assistance is channeled properly, ” he explained.

On the other hand, the Head of the South Sumatra Tourism and Culture Office, Aufa Syahrizal, representing the Governor of South Sumatra, Herman Deru, said this assistance was a form of government attention, both central and regional to tourism workers and the creative economy to ease their lives.
