Indonesian Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin said the results of a serological survey revealed that the antibodies of the Indonesian people this year reached 99.2 percent due to two things, namely vaccination and COVID-19 infection that occurred in survivors.

“This means that 99.2 percent of the Indonesian population already has antibodies,” he said.

He said the antibody levels of the Indonesian people had increased from the previous 500-600 to 7,000-8,000. Budi said this shows that the community already has high antibody levels so that it can reduce the risk of being hospitalized and dying when infected with COVID-19. (mhn/bbs)
