Jakarta, The Indonesia Post – Indonesian National Army (TNI) Commander General Andika Perkasa said the TNI was offering its best to make the 2022 G20 Summit a success in Indonesia.
“We have prepared the best, starting with the facilities that will be used by foreign heads of state. We have tried to present it in the best design, only later in the implementation we will also provide the best,” said Andika Perkasa as monitored on General TNI Andika’s YouTube channel Mighty in Jakarta, Thursday.
To support securing the implementation of the G20 Summit in Bali on November 15-16, TNI Headquarters sent 252 units of battery-based electric vehicles (KLBB). The electric vehicles include 42 units of escort cars, in the form of 12 units of Hyundai Ioniq and 30 units of Hyundai Ioniq Five produced in 2022 from South Korea.
In addition, 126 units of Zero SRFM motorbikes produced in the United States are prepared as escort motorbikes and 84 rescue motorbikes equipped with helmets, jackets, pants, shoes, and gloves.
Logistics Assistant to the TNI Commander Major General TNI Haryono explained that his party had prepared in detail the security and escort vehicles, even to the design of the escort vehicles, to provide the best in organizing the G20 Summit.
“Including the design, Mr. Panglima (TNI Andika Perkasa) directly (directed),” said Haryono.
Andika Perkasa also reminded all TNI personnel on duty to present the best during the G20 Summit in Bali. The success of the security implemented by the TNI will become the “face” of the TNI that is seen by the heads of state. (mhn/bbs)
