Palembang, The Indonesia Post – Deputy Governor of South Sumatra H. Mawardi Yahya Received a Visit from the Cooperation Facilitation Center Team of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Home Affairs, led by the Head of Cooperation for International Organizations and Foreign Institutions, Ahmad Fajri and his staff.
“This is an award, because the Head of Cooperation for International Organizations and Foreign Institutions, Ahmad Fajri and his staff are pleased to be present in South Sumatra and hopefully this meeting can provide good output and can collaborate with the South Sumatra Provincial Government and the Secretariat of the Ministry of Home Affairs,” he said.
Deputy Governor Mawardi said that in principle, the South Sumatra Provincial Government is ready to facilitate this collaboration which of course remains with existing administrative regulations.
Meanwhile, Head of Cooperation for International Organizations and Foreign Institutions, Ahmad Fajri, conveyed this visit in the context of support for the plan to carry out International Webinars and Technical Guidance in the framework of Sub-Regional Economic Cooperation between Indonesia and Malaysia – Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT).
IMT-GT is a subregional economic cooperation recognized by ASEAN which plays an important role in building ASEAN connectivity economy In South Sumatra Province, this activity is planned to be held on February 25-27 2020 with 60 participants.
This activity is the third time, which previously had been carried out in the Provinces of Bali and Lombok “Besides discussing economic topics, there will be additional activities related to the handling of Covid-19.
