//Positive Patients Directly Treated and Isolated.
// We broke the chain, the citizens do not be afraid and worry.
PALEMBANG, TheIndonesiaPost – Covid-19 cases are increasingly growing in South Sumatra, this is not without reason, because the Governor of South Sumatra Herman Deru asked the public not to worry about the development of Covid-19 which is currently happening in South Sumatra.
“The increase in Covid-19 actually proves if all parties who are members of the South Sumatra Covid-19 task force are indeed aggressively trying to accelerate treatment so that the number of positive confirmed patients can be known early,” Deru said.
Based on reports from the South Sumatra Covid-19, Friday (5/15), at least 17 people were confirmed positive.
17 positive people were obtained after the South Sumatra task force team did tracking or tracing of patients who had previously been confirmed positive.
“Everything is obtained from the tracking results. So we immediately carry out our care and isolation to break the spread of the distribution chain,” Deru continued.
With this new positive case found, it will again conduct a search. One of them is looking for people who have previously interacted with these patients.
Those who have contact with these patients will immediately be taken to the specimen and followed by a swab test.
“These increasing cases are people who have previously been in contact with positive cases. So the public should not panic, because with the discovery of this positive we can map and prevent people from wandering, and isolate themselves in a disciplined manner, “said Deru
