HD Appeals Residents to Stay Discipline in Implementing health protocol

PALEMBANG, The Indonesia Post – Governor of South Sumatra Province (Sumsel), H Herman Deru is back on a Friday Safari this time which is the goal of Al-Halim Mosque, Al-Fatah Residence Complex, Jalan Tanjung Bakia, IB 1 District, Palembang, Friday (11/13/2020) .

After carrying out the Friday prayers in congregation, Governor Herman Deru made a gathering with local residents, in his remarks Herman Deru said there were many ways that could be done in an effort to strengthen the relationship, one of which was holding a Friday safari.

He has been doing this Friday safari agenda for a long time, even when he was still the East OKU Regent until 2015. He resumed his Friday safari when he was Governor of South Sumatra and has been running for the last two years.

“Alhamdulillah, through this Friday safari I know a lot about the conditions and situations of the people in the area,” said Deru.

Through this Friday safari, Herman Deru also invited the public to remain vigilant and obedient in implementing health protocols (Prokes) by wearing masks, maintaining distance and always washing their hands regularly as an effort to prevent themselves from contracting the corona virus.

“We are already free from the red zone of Covid-19. But don’t be lax in applying health protocols in carrying out daily life,” he added.

The number one person in South Sumatra also reminded local people to remain vigilant when doing activities outside the home. According to him, the spread of Covid-19 has changed the way people live, which are required to maintain a clean and healthy lifestyle.

“Alhamdulillah, South Sumatra has become one of the provinces whose economy remains stable despite the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said. (mhn/ril)
