OKI, The Indonesia Post – In addition to preparing single-digit budget assistance (in billions), South Sumatra Governor H. Herman Deru is also committed to helping build a stadium for residents of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency (OKI). He made this statement while attending the XXXI Plenary Meeting for the III DPRD Trial Period to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the OKI Regency, Sunday (11/10/20).
HD said, at a more mature age the OIC has shown a lot of progress. In addition to receiving an award from the center for handling the fastest Covid, food production in OKI is also very fast, so that it is included in the 3 highest food-producing districts in South Sumatra. With the potential to expand the existing new planting area (PATB), he is even optimistic that food production in OKI, which was previously 1 million, can be increased to 2 tons.
Not only touched on the agricultural sector, HD also took the opportunity to highlight infrastructure problems which he thought were imperfect due to the limited APBD.
“If there is about 1 digit of ABT, I have prepared it for a gift. This can be used for paving or coating which is still possible until the end of the year. Later, if PTBA can’t help, I will help build a sports hall or stadium for OKI, I’ll help. use 2021 APBD funds, “said HD.
In addition, HD also appreciates the assistance and hard work of the Regent, council members and the OIC community who have taken the trouble to make South Sumatra zero Karhutla this year. The district government and the community’s efforts to provide warning banners not to burn land succeeded in making people aware so that they could suppress Karhutla.
However, it should not make people careless and neglectful. On the other hand, it needs to be done consistently so that South Sumatra is free from forest and land fires in the coming years.
“And this anniversary can be a means for us to give thanks, evaluate and introspect on what has been done. Moreover, this anniversary is held on Sunday. What does that mean? Our spirits face the same problem. No more Sundays. Everyday is Monday,” he said. .
On that occasion HD also invited people to remain productive during a pandemic. By continuing to do activities both rice farming, rubber and running a business. Of course, by implementing the health protocol according to the Governor Regulation 37/2020 which he issued.
“Our MSMEs must be strong. Because this is our advantage compared to countries like Singapore and others. So we must keep the spirit to be the best in Sumatra, especially next year South Sumatra will host the U-20 World Cup,” HD said.
With these advantages and disadvantages, HD said that it was right for the OIC to have a Regent like Iskandar SE. With the breakthroughs and programs he has been intensifying, he believes that the OKI Mandiri and Prosperity (Mandira), which has become their slogan, will soon be realized.
Meanwhile, the Regent of OKI Iskandar SE said that he was already waiting for a special gift from the Governor of South Sumatra. With this assistance, he hopes that services to the OIC public can still be provided optimally in the midst of a pandemic condition like now.
At the age of 75, even though he is constrained by Covid, he remains committed to realizing the ideals of the previous leaders to make the OIC community prosperous. Not only prioritizing increasing food but also providing a comprehensive electricity network for OIC residents.
The theme of this anniversary is Let’s Innovate and collaborate together against the Covid Pandemic towards a more Fair and Prosperous OIC. This plenary activity was held virtually which was attended by a number of other important officials such as the Chairperson of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD R.A Anita Noeringhati, Deputy Regent of OKI Imam Djakfar Shodiq, Chair of the OKI PKK TP and Chair of the OKI Regency DPRD and the OKI Regency Forkompimda.
After attending the plenary meeting at the OKI DPRD Building, the Governor also took time to stay in touch with a number of village heads and sub-district heads at the OKI Regent Official House Hall before leaving for Palembang. ******
Title: Proving Love for Both Parents, Herman Deru Presents the Beautiful Al Hayza Mosque in OKI
OKI – During his visit to attend the 75th Anniversary of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, Sunday (11/10/20) the Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru stopped by and at the same time reviewed the construction work of the Al Hayza Mosque in Srinanti Village, Pedamaran District, OKI Regency. This mosque is special because it is proof of HD’s love for HD and its 13 siblings to their late parents Hj. Hayani and H. Hamzah.
Under the drizzling rain, HD directly observed the construction of the mosque on an area of one hectare. Not only for the community to worship, HD hopes that the presence of the Al Hayza Mosque which is right on the side of the main road will later become a center for Islamic education. Even with a beautiful building design, he hopes the Al Hayza mosque will become a means of spreading Islam in the area.
“This is dedicated to Muslims and residents of Srinanti. Hopefully this can be used to worship both residents and drivers passing through transit. This is a proof of our love for our 14 siblings for our parents. That’s why they are named Hayza which stands for their name Hj. . Hayani and H. Hamzah, “said HD.
So far, the word HD happens to be around the main road, there is no mosque that can accommodate a large number of worshipers. Therefore, he hopes that the existence of this mosque can be utilized optimally. He is even grateful if later the mosque can be used as a means to carry out Islamic propagation.
“We pray that the construction of this mosque is on target. And in the future it will become a proud place of worship and a place of religious tourism,” he said.
Not only places of worship, the plan said HD around the mosque complex will also be a kind of productive fish pond which is seriously managed. Starting from the spawning pond to production. For this part, HD asked the village government and local residents to contribute.
“Hopefully the Al Hayza Mosque will be completed soon and can be inaugurated soon so that the benefits can be enjoyed by the general public,” said HD. (mhn/ril)
