Jakarta, The Indonesia Post – The COVID-19 Task Force (Satgas) noted that 132,090,119 Indonesians had received the full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as of Tuesday at 12.00 WIB.
Based on data from the Task Force quoted in Jakarta, Tuesday, the number of residents who received the vaccine was obtained after an increase of 970,694 people.
The number of residents who received the first dose of vaccine has reached 187,047,562 after an increase of 344,172 people.
In the third dose of vaccination or booster which has been carried out since January 12, 2022 to the public, there have been an increase of 329,786 people, bringing a total of 5,878,217 people.
The vaccination target set by the government is still targeting 208,265,720 residents to get a complete dose so that group immunity is quickly formed.
The Task Force said the number of active cases had increased by 26,701 cases. As a result, the total active cases throughout Indonesia became 233,062 cases.
Similar to the number of people confirmed to have COVID-19 which continues to grow, currently the total number of people who have tested positive has reached 4,580,093 people after an increase of 37,492 people.
The increase in the number of cases resulted in 83 deaths and the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 touched 144,719 people.
Recovered patients continued to increase, recorded 4,202,312 people after adding 10,708 people.
A total of 454,919 specimens from various COVID-19 tests were declared to have been examined, while 19,992 people became suspects. The daily specimen positivity rate is 17.89 percent and the daily person positivity rate is 13.17 percent.
While the government continues to strive to intensify 3T which includes testing, tracking and handling throughout the country, it is hoped that the community will continue to work together and remain disciplined in carrying out health protocols in all forms of activities carried out.
The health protocols include wearing masks, washing hands with soap under running water and maintaining social distance. In addition, the formation of immunity through vaccination is also needed to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19. (mhn/bbs)
