Palembang, The Indonesia Post – The Governor of South Sumatra H Herman Deru acted as Inspector of Flag Ceremony in commemoration of the 76th Birthday of the Republic of Indonesia at Griya Agung Palembang, Tuesday 17 August 2021. The commemoration of the Indonesian Independence Day this time with the theme Indonesia Resilient Indonesia Grows.
The ceremony was also attended by Deputy Governor of South Sumatra H Mawardi Yahya, Forkopimda of South Sumatra Province, Heads of South Sumatra Province OPD, and South Sumatra Provincial Government ASN who were present virtually and live streaming through the South Sumatra Diskominfo YouTube channel.
Acting as the commander of the ceremony, Infantry Lieutenant Colonel Andi Irawan was assigned the position of Commander of the Infantry Battalion Raider 200/Bhakti Negara Kodam II Sriwijaya. The reader of the text of the 1945 Constitution is the Chairman of the DPRD of South Sumatra Province Hj. R.A. Anita Noeringhati. The flag raising officers were I Nyoman Ananta Sumanta, a student from SMAN I Belitang, M. Ally Rega, a student from SMAN 2 OKU, and Itto Bayhaqi from SMAN 3 Kota Pagaralam.
