“Hopefully we will produce all the agricultural products in South Sumatra, both natural resources, agricultural products such as corn, coffee, rubber and others, we will export,” Deru said.
He really wants Tanjung Carat to be realized soon, certainly, with the support of the central government and investors.
“Our hope is great here so that we become a region as a gateway for food exports in Indonesia and we must accelerate this. But of course the South Sumatra Provincial Government itself needs help from the central government and investors,” he said.
Regarding the construction of the Port of Tanjung Carat, Herman Deru said the construction was underway, but there were still obstacles considering that Indonesia, especially South Sumatra was still in Covid-19. He also thanked PT. Tri Patria has done it.
